Background

At Acklam Whin we take pride in trying to include everyone in how we work together. Our mission statements are, always a chance for everyone & to prepare our children for their future.

Problem

The current website was dated and not easy to update and it didn’t have much scope for future developments. The photography was dated and the design wasn’t as visually appealing as they would have liked. They also expressed that current parents found it difficult to find basic information.

Solution

I came up with a carousel solution in the header rather than a slider. This simple inclusion meant that a school could simply update their carousel with the latest information and existing parents would be able to see what they need with a scroll or click. The design itself focuses heavily on school photography making this design our most picked website to date for other schools to replicate.
